The term African Musk in perfumery does not refer to a specific natural ingredient derived from an African plant or animal. Instead, it generally describes a synthetic fragrance accord inspired by the musk family.

Historically, natural musk was obtained from the Asian musk deer, but its use is now prohibited or strictly regulated in most parts of the world. To replace it, perfumers have developed a wide range of synthetic musks, each with its own distinctive olfactory profile.

African Musk is therefore a modern fragrance creation, often used as a marketing name to evoke a warmer, deeper, and more animalic interpretation of traditional musk. Its scent is typically described as warm, woody, ambery, sensual, and subtly animalic, with a rich sense of depth and lasting character.

Rather than indicating a true botanical or geographical origin, African Musk represents an imaginative olfactory interpretation of musk with a more exotic and intense personality.

The Fragrances are pure, undiluted concentrated oily extracts, without vegetable oil or any added alcohol.

DILUTION-CONCENTRATION:soluble in oil, glycerin and alcohol, not soluble in water. All our Fragrances are 100% pure and miscible with each other.

 

COMPOSITION:the chemical composition of the product complies with European regulations.  Contains DPG Di-Propylene Glycol (oxybispropanol-C6H14O3) in its formulation.

 

CAUTION:flammable, irritating to the skin in pure use. May stain fabric, paper, wood.
