ADVICE AND FORMULATIONS
FRAGRANCES are not ESSENTIAL OILS.
These are synthetic substitutes created and used by Perfumers.
Fragrances are numerous and diverse. Perfumers have always developed their perfumes taking into account three essential elements: the Top Note, the Heart Note, the Base Note.
A few words to assimilate the Rule of Perfumers:
Top Note is the scent that we immediately perceive. It strikes, it awakens the senses.
However, being too volatile, it evaporates very quickly to make way for the Heart Note.
The Heart Note constitutes the very framework of the Perfume, it is expressed with strength and power.
It is she who leaves this indelible, unforgettable trace that will be remembered for a long time.
Base Note is the scent that joins the other two to produce "that little something"
insignificant but so important at the same time. Indeed, the Base Note, like a little scent that we imagine to be useless, will very often be the detonator of a fireworks display of a thousand splinters...
But to start and to find your way around all these scents, it is better to follow the following classifications:
1 - CLASSIFICATION BY DESIGNATION
The Fragrances have their Specific Name. As a general rule, their denomination is applied by the entire profession.
Before smelling them or mixing them together, it is better to know their names well...
So familiarize yourself with their names, write them down, and then research their scents.
2 - CLASSIFICATION BY AGREEMENTS
The Accords are grouped into 16 Families. These are built around their respective Top, Heart and Base Notes.
Marine Accord, Cyprus Accord, Citrus Accord, Cologne or Citrus Accord, Earthy Accord, Floral Bouquet Accord, Fern Accord, Fuy Accord, Gourmet Accord, Green Accord, Leather Accord, Musk Accord, Oriental Accord, Spicy Accord, Flowery Accord, Woody Accord .
3 - CLASSAY BY SPECIFIC SCENTS
For you, the Arts-Set Fragrances will simply be divided into 5 main Families.
Flowery or Floral Scents, Woody Scents, Fruity or Citrusy Scents, Sweet or Gourmet Scents, Spicy or Oriental Scents.
From the marriage between these various scents will be born a new scent. With infinite delicacy and according to your taste,
you will have to unite them to invent a new scent, a new perfume, your perfume...
A simple drop or a few drops are enough to produce an enchantment!
4 - CLASSIFICATION BY GENDER
By giving free rein to your imagination, Fragrances can easily be classified by Genre.
Perhaps it will be easier for you to choose them by imagining them according to some particular Type...
But this is only a step because by marrying them together, by mixing them with taste, their "Type",
their "Note" will change, evolve, it will metamorphose.
From Classic at the start it will become Oriental or else from Oriental it will become Sensual.
It's up to you to decide what your Top Note, Heart Note or Base Note will be...
