The cucumber (Cucumis sativus) is a member of the Cucurbitaceae family, native to Asia, most likely the region stretching from India to the Himalayas. Cultivated for more than 3,000 years, it gradually spread to the Middle East, Africa, and Europe through ancient trade routes.

In perfumery, the cucumber note is characterized by its fresh, watery, and subtly green scent. It evokes the crisp, juicy flesh of the fruit, creating a striking impression of purity and freshness. As natural cucumber is not used directly in fragrance extraction, this note is typically recreated using synthetic aroma molecules. It is highly valued in modern perfumery for adding lightness, a refreshing "fresh water" effect, and vibrancy to floral and green accords.

The Fragrances are pure, undiluted concentrated oily extracts, without vegetable oil or any added alcohol.

DILUTION-CONCENTRATION:soluble in oil, glycerin and alcohol, not soluble in water. All our Fragrances are 100% pure and miscible with each other.

 

COMPOSITION:the chemical composition of the product complies with European regulations.  Contains DPG Di-Propylene Glycol (oxybispropanol-C6H14O3) in its formulation.

 

CAUTION:flammable, irritating to the skin in pure use. May stain fabric, paper, wood.
